Muséum d'Histoire naturelle (MHN) de Genève

The aim of the "International Meeting AROUND the Jurassic-Cretaceous Boundary" is to discuss eustatical, biological, physiographical, geochemical, tectonic, ... events at/near the boundary (i.e., over an interval of time spanning the Kimmeridgian to the Hauterivian, with a special focus on the Tithonian-Valanginian strata).

Selected papers from the meeting will be published in "Volumina Jurassica" (Editor in Chief: Prof. Andrzej Wierzbowki) and in "Cretaceous Research" (Editor in Chief: Dr Eduardo Koutsoukos). There will also be possibilities to submit some manuscripts to "Revue de Paléobiologie" (Editor in Chief: Dr Lionel Cavin) and in "Carnets Geol." (Editor in Chief: Prof. Bruno Granier).

The JK2018 is conducted for the benefit of all attendees, guests, speakers, scientific partners and their representatives, exhibitors (if any), volunteers, members of the scientific committee, and members of the organizing committee to advance the knowledge around a key system boundary. As such, it should facilitate networking and collaboration between researchers within the world’s geosciences community.
